ABOUT THE SHOW

When nobody shows up to grandma's funeral, Anthony reads from her “Book of Secrets” and discovers everything he thought he knew about her is a lie. What follows is a hilarious and heartbreaking attempt to untangle fact from fiction about the plague-resistant, slot psychic who once murdered a microwave and taught him how to drink at nine.

This is the outrageous true story of a grandma like no other that takes family dysfunction from Vegas funeral parlors and desert double-wides to the Star Trek writers’ room and back again.

DRINKING WITH GRANDMA is a true story about the fake stories we tell ourselves to survive.

“One of the funniest funerals of the festival.”-Facts

“Grandma had a complicated relationship with the truth. I never knew what was real or not… growing up with her was like living in a trailer park version of Big Fish.”
